The Centre for Studies in Romantic Literature (CSRL) is an autonomous resource centre set up in 1994 in Kolkata, India by Professor Malabika Sarkar. It's an interdisciplinary centre, with a primary focus on literature, and welcomes specialists from allied fields such as history, philosophy and the fine arts. Its activities include the running of a library with books, journals, audio-visual material, annual international conferences and seminars with eminent visiting scholars each year from Britain or North America as well as Romanticists from India.
